If you're an athlete... and you've always wanted to resemble a
lightning bolt when gliding across the playing field, then allow
me to show you the most effective speed-training method you'll ever see.
My name is Brent Hall and I just went through a new training program that was designed specifically for athletes who need functional speed. (ie. it's not about running in straight lines on a track. It's about becoming effective in your sport... where you stop, go,
sprint full out, jog lightly, then accelerate from a standstill...
slalom running, lateral running, jumping... falling and getting up and
immediately going into a full out 40 yard sprint, etc).
After 6 sessions that took about 20 minutes each to complete (over the course of 3 weeks),
I saw an improvement of 1.2 seconds in my 100 meter sprint time. That's
down to 12.1 seconds from 13.3 seconds when I started the program. I've
still got a week to go...
But the improvement in my 100-meter time is not the most impressive factor.
The biggest benefit for me is the fact that I can now continually
out sprint my opponents over 90 minutes. Three weeks into the program I
played a full match and could see and feel the difference. My opponent
became more and more sluggish as I wore him out.
I just kept putting the ball into space behind him and then burned
him for pace every time. He gradually become a non-factor as the match
went on.
They even started putting two guys on me towards the end of the
match. It didn't make much difference because I simply did the same
thing and out ran both of them.
It's fair to say that I
genuinely terrorized them.
A year ago that would have been impossible because I would have been
burned out by half-time. I hate training. Gyms and muscle heads annoy
me. I don't like doing repetitive tasks... and I definitely cannot
motivate myself to run 3 miles every day.
This program was incredibly easy... even for a lazy guy like me.
I must warn you though. This is NOT an extensive "text book". It's a
nuts and bolts workout that will take you 15 minutes to read through.
You won't earn a master's degree in sports training by studying this
program.
And a second warning: This won't turn you into an olympic
sprinter. As I mentioned previously, you'll find that this is not about
running in straight lines between lanes on a track. It's about becoming
faster and more explosive in your sport. Whatever sport you play...
tennis, football, basketball, soccer, volleyball etc.
You'll see remarkable results where
it
counts... on the playing field!
And it doesn't matter what level you compete at. This will help you
whether you play in the recreation league, or whether you're a serious
amateur... or even a pro.
After you've completed the program, you will notice a marked
improvement in your raw speed, speed endurance and acceleration off the
mark. The stuff that really matters to folks like you and me.
Here's what this is NOT about:
This is NOT an extensive encyclopedia of sports training theory.
You will NOT have to spend hours in the gym.
You'll be relieved to know that you do not need any fancy training equipment,
you do not have to lug yourself down to a track,
... And best of all, it will only take 8 sessions of 15 to 20
minutes each to start noticing and seeing a difference. That's 2 short
